UpDownDeal can be purchased on Google Play

Follow these steps to select and start a new UpDownDeal solitaire

Pressing the Menu, a button panel appears showing three options:

  • User Name: To register a username that will hold playing records. In case it is the first time to a certain username is introduced, a dialog box is popup to verify the name and certainty to be registered
  • User Score: A panel popup with indication of number of games played and solved by the username, and a list of those games that this username hasn’t solved
  • Game Number: A panel popup showing three options:
    • Same Number: To restart the game just played
    • Select Number: To introduce the number of the game that is wanted to play
    • Random Number: For a game number randomly selected

Note: To these two last options, and if the program detect that the game number selected was already played by the registered username, a dialog box is popup showing whether it was solved, and giving the opportunity to decided whether play it

Once the game number is selected, the game starts immediately.

  • It can be selected a game without introducing a username, in which case the database that keeps records of the games isn’t enabled
  • Cards are dealt, two at a time, to the discard pile by clicking the dealing deck; so, one card is hidden, and is only shown if the top one is dragged from the discard pile to a tableau or foundations
  • When the dealing deck is completely spent, a dialog box popup asking whether to refill the dealing deck with the cards remaining in the discard pile and continue the game, giving the opportunity to make possible rearrange cards before continuing the dealing
  • In case the deck is completed dealt and, from the beginning to the end of this last dealing, none of the top cards fit anywhere, the game can’t be solved
